SHIRTY SCIENCE SEASON HOME | TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Competition
Artists wishing to enter shirty Science Season Home are required to upload a design to www.shirtyscience.com. The design must be inspired by the work of one of five Shirty Science Season Home scientist. An artist may enter more then one design.
Selection:
All uploaded designs will be sent via email to corresponding scientists. Selection of final design is up to each scientists discretion. All artists will be notified via email on the outcome of their submission.
Royalties:
The public will be able to pre-order the five selected shirt designs online at www.shirtyscience.com between September 11 2020 - September 25 2020. Shirt sales will be limited to 100 per design. The winning artist will receive $5 in royalties per shirt sold with their design, up to $500. Total royalties will be calculated at the close of the pre-order period. The artist will issue Shirty Science a Tax Invoice for the final amount. Payment will be made through direct bank transfer to the Artists selected account.
The artist will be acknowledged online and in an accompanying postcard distributed with each sold shirt.
Copyright:
The Artist maintains common-law copyright to all designs submitted to Shirty Science Season Home. With the exclusion that Shirty Science has the right to use the submitted design, in advertising material, including social media posts, posters, and postcards and if successful in the form of Shirty Science shirts. The artist will be acknowledged in all use of the design.
The scientist may gain access to any of the submitted artworks, for personal use, but must first seek verbal or written permission from the Artist and must acknowledge the artist in all use of the design.
Privacy:
The artist consents to have their work shared via Shirty Science to promote, market and advertise the project. Shirty Science may contact the artist via email for clarification or evaluation purposes.
